what type of person you are?

this is the question i've been asking alot of people including myself

there are 2 ways to learn about life, failure, success, happiness, sadness

short-cut or not short-cut...there you go...2 ways..

people used to tell me....

"pongdee....dun be stupid....there is no short-cut in life.."

i feel it is not true about that statement..

there is a short-cut...in other words...learning about life by just listening to people's past experience...

for example..

"pongdee...don't do that..u'll end up nothing."

then u'll stop doing...and you thank God because someone tell u before u try to do it...

when others ask you wat will happen if you do...then u'll go tell that person

"u'll end up nothing"

"how u know? u tried before?"

"nah..that person told me so.."

"then how u know u'll end up nothing?"

"hey...that person is 50 yrs old...eat salt more than us eat rice..so listen to tat person orite?"

that...i consider a short-cut way to learn about ur life..by just listening to people...

let me take myself as an example

when i was young..i used to listen to ppl....or can say short-cut way...

i can say tat i know alot of things....this cannot...that cannot....

but in the end....i feel my life very dull......i have all the answers...but nvr try it

but i come to realise it during my uni life.....when i was exposed to outside world for the very 1st time....away from home for the very 1st time...meet alot of diff ppl for the very 1st time

that short-cut is not a fun way to live my life....

for all my life....i've been listening to ppl.....and didn manage to do anything....except for one time...when i was in standard 6.....and tat was the 1st time i earned my money with my own hand.....

it was like this

during tat year..everyone was busy collecting first day cover....and in our class there were 2 frens of mine will always went and bought like few first day cover and sold to us...

i had this in my mind....why not i try the monopoly idea?

so i went to 2 of my frens...bought all the first day cover..of course with the original price..

then i sold back to other frens a lil higher price...with no other choices or options..they just bought from me...and tat day..i earned around rm 8 or rm 9 *i know its little..but dun care the money...its about the meaning of the story*

when i think back..i can't believe i would have such courage to take the risk.....to buy all the first day cover...cut off others supply of first day cover..and i be the one who monopoly the business

that was very good example to try...and learn through the hard way...

i'm working now...i have alot of things wan to try and i wan to learn through the hard way......change from a short-cut way to a hard way of living my life

because i feel...i won't achieve anything by just listening to other people

so i would like to know

what type of person you are??and why you're that type of person?? maybe you can share some experiences or ur opinion with us
